Kale Veggie Juice

kale juice

Fresh juices are simply the best. They do not even come close to the store bought kind. You’ve really got to make your own juice if you want to reap the benefits of all those vitamins and nutrients. If that orange juice or cran apple has been sitting on the shelf non-refrigerated for months how many nutrients do you honestly think are left?

Close to none I tell you.

So get out there buy your own mini juicer and start the day with fresh fruit or veggie juice every morning. I prefer the veggie juices – they’re not as sweet and more my style.

This one was a hit.

I read all about the kale juice craze a couple years ago and needed to try this out myself. The kale mixes perfectly with the carrots, celery, apples and daikon radish. The apples add just a hint of sweetness and the daikon gives it a nice kick.

While I was home I saw a juice counter at Whole Foods and could barely believe my eyes when I saw the price of a large kale veggie juice – over $10.

Seriously? I mean seriously?

With your own juicer you won’t have to pay so much for your own batch so make this at home instead.
