Nutella is like a time machine.
I only needed the slightest scent of it and I’m instantly transported back into my childhood. Lackadaisical carefree days of swinging my feet under the kitchen table as I eagerly awaited my slice of bread with a generous helping of creamy and chocolately nutella.

Did you grow up eating nutella sandwiches? Eventually I grew out of this and skipped the bread entirely, going right for the jar with a large tablespoon.
But since I’m apparently supposed to be an adult now I can come up with a more sophisticated way to incorporate nutella into my daily diet.
So meet my banana nutella smoothie recipe. Made with all your favorites – bananas, coconut milk, nutella and chocolate ice cream.
With that list of winning ingredients this couldn’t be anything but delicious. Oh and it just smells soooo good. Like a party in your glass.

- 1 banana, broken up into pieces
- 1 cups coconut milk
- 1-2 tablespoons nutella
- 1/2 - 1 cup ice cubes
- 1-2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
- Blend ice cubes first to make sure they get broken down into smaller pieces.
- Add remaining ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
