How is August and summer almost over already? I pretty much say this every single year, but can’t help feeling that time is simply flying by.
For me the end of August always signifies three things: my birthday (yesterday) which means turning a year older (& wiser?), the end of long summer days and the beginning of the school year.
In Massachusetts the school year always starts around Labor Day so this time of year always bring me back to all those years of back to school planning and prep. Remember those long lists of back to school gear that were handed out by the teachers? Did you always buy every single item on that list?
I remember when I was younger I obsessively demanded that my parents purchase every single school supply on that list. By senior year of high school I was all set with one notebook and a pencil. Freshman year of high school was a whole different world though, when I scoured the aisles of Wal-Mart for the coolest school supplies.
Thankfully nowadays I can skip those sections of the store and head straight for the grocery aisles which also happens to be where you can find this So Delicious Dairy Free® Key Lime yogurt alternative which is quite crucial for today’s frozen key lime yogurt alternative treat.
Though I myself do not have any children to be sending off to school at this time of year, my mind can felt moving towards recipes that would be perfect for back to school. For all the parents out there this key lime yogurt alternative frozen treat is perfectly back to school friendly.
