Only nine ingredients required for this shredded tender, fall apart in your mouth slow cooker Asian chicken. Set it and forget it. 15 minutes of prep required and the slow cooker does the rest. Gluten Free and Dairy Free too.

  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons gluten free tamari
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce add 1 teaspoon for less spicy version
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth optional
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  1. In a bowl combine ginger, garlic, tamari, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, olive oil and chicken broth. Mix until smooth.
  2. Place chicken in slow cooker and pour the sauce on top.
  3. Set on high for 4 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it and return to the slow cooker, mixing it with the sauce, for another 30 minutes.
