Quite simply the best appetizer in the world - Tuna tartar on a rice cracker with cucumber

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound tuna chopped
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons 1 teaspoon lime
  • zest of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/3-1/2 avocado diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon wasabi powder
  • 12 long English cucumber thinly sliced on mandolin
  • 30-35 rice crackers
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl combine tuna, soy sauce, lime juice, zest, sesame oil, olive oil, wasabi and avocado. Let marinate in the fridge for one hour.
  2. To assemble dip a cucumber into the tuna tartar mix (to act as a glue) and add to the rice cracker. Top with a spoonful of tuna tartar mix and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  3. Serve immediately (do not assemble until ready to serve).
