This refreshing and sweet Vegan Mango Smoothie has no sugar added and is easy to make! It will be your new favorite afternoon drink.
Hello glorious, delicious and refreshing mango smoothie. There is nothing quite like the mango smoothie. It honestly trumps all over smoothie if you ask me.
When you have proper ripe and sweet mangoes, a mango smoothie can be out of this world. I truly believe that the best mangoes are in the Philippines – super sweet, ripe and easy to find just about all over the country. If you’re ever in the Philippines, I insist you treat yourself to a mango smoothie a day. Every single day. You’ll thank me for this later.
Mangoesย are without a doubt my favorite fruit and I could easily eat them everyday. Unfortunately the tasteless mangoes found in theย North East USย deter me from doing so.
Oh the childhood memories of eating mangoes in Australia just flash before my eyes (andย taste buds). On the rare occasion that I do find a juicy sweet flavorful mango here, this smoothie is perfect.
If you’re in the mood for a more frozen snack just pour the puree into a bowl and pop it into the freezer – a few hours later you have homemade slurry sorbet/sherbet/ice cream.
So while a lot of people prefer berry smoothies for me I always go for the one fruit classic mango smoothie. No sugar required – the fruit is sweet enough, and with a bit of ice and coconut milk you’ve got yourself a super refreshing and rejuvenating fruity cold smoothie.
Next time you’re at the grocery store look out for the mango section — if they have mangoes from South East Asia – namely Thailand and the Philippines (these will be yellow in color and more oval in shape than the large round Reddish Australian mangoes) be sure to stock up!
Proper ripe mangoes can be hard to come by so you can make lots of servings of this mango smoothie and simply freeze it for later! The puree would freeze perfectly in zip lock bags to later be mixed with coconut water + cream for this mango smoothie treat.
Or just make a whole bucket and eat as sorbet for weeks to come! Vegan mango sorbet sounds just as delightful as a mango smoothie so the choice is up to you!
What’s your favorite smoothie? Berry or green? Or are you like me a die hard fan of the mango smoothie?

I love mangoes! I think if you make that exact smoothie but also add some frozen pineapple pieces when blending you can take that smoothie to the next level. Cheers!

Completely agree! Will definitely be adding pineapple to the next one!

Hey Vicky, I finally made the smoothie and loved it! So creamy and bursting with flavour. I didn’t have any pineapple, but I’m sure it would be great. Will add it next time. Thanks again for the recipe.
